Uncircumcised minds

Lizzy cried
She wept bitterly until her tears turned Into blood
She had a thousand scars and each of them held a memory
These were darker days
Where the light seemed unworthy
No single atom of light can penetrate this darkness and live
Sorrow built a place in her heart and as she tried to escape from the inevitable,
a snare of bitterness would catch her
Lizzy’s mother used to say
“Life is a box of chocolates”
So she grew up thinking life is sweet and she once tasted that
A lady who had glowing eyes and beautiful face that exposed dimples whenever she smiled, a grin with glaring white teeth
A body that killed many man with those curves
She was always happy
Until she met Jack

This is a story with no happy ending
Lizzy’s happy life ceased

Jack was so violent
He was always accompanied by a scent of blood
And always held all the breaths he took from innocent lives
Laughing skeletons were all over his head
Demons became his best friend
Voices in his head became commanders of his actions

Then you wonder how such a man met Lizzy

They say love is blind but this one could see all the hatred in it

Lizzy tried to change Jack
But this mind was uncircumcised
tried to place golden daffodils in his heart
but shrinked before they could find a way deep in his veins

Jack would whip Lizzy
Whip her continuously
Until her screams turned into shrills
She would say
“Jack please , please don’t do this”
Full of blood, sweat and tears
From this pain
Jack gained laughter
Is this what they meant
When they said
“No pain, no gain”

….this one night he came drunk
His mind controlled him to do this terrible
Stabbing Lizzy a thousand times
Laughed until his echoes we trapped into that dark room
Then he said
“Dust to dust, she shall return”

These are the most uncircumcised minds that exist
Minds that trigger tears and cover the world with darkness
These are uncouth shadows creeping to trip and choke innocent minds
Times like these tremble our souls, our hearts are in folds of fear, hear these gun shots will never fade, here life is risky because Jack is not the only killer walking freely, Lizzy is not the only women six feet deep, turning into dust because the ground accepted to swallow her bcoz of men who are inhumane, don’t blame masculinity for writing this poem, women are trying to burn their femininity because it has become a curse making them susceptible to pain and men’s action, an acid slowly eating the self esteem of women
Jack buried Lizzy, spat on the grave, smiled and left
Love after all is evil
We don’t have to spell it backwards to prove it
See Lizzy is buried six feet deep
And her old mother is in grief
She tried to tell Lizzy that Jack ain’t a man for her but did she listen
Now Jack is puffing a cigarette
Drawing an obscure list of victims and fate full of tears is watching in silence.
