Thando Gwinji is a young woman born, bred and based in the city of Kings and Queens. A qualified Peace and Development practitioner identifying as a youth leader and a human rights activist. She is a woman that she is today through the inspiration she gets from life, a beautiful gift we should hold with both hands, so with it being so precious it’s up to us to live peacefully, be kind and make the world a better place for generations to come.
Thando is a graphic designer designing with Graphic Designer Boy. She looks up to a lot of people around her, leaders she sees from afar and she always makes sure to learn a thing or two from every individual she comes across. Besides activism and graphic designing Thando is a lover of art, a writer and a blogger, so basically she’s an artist. In life she has achieved a lot, from her school days up until now. Being a Technovation ambassador and successfully teaching 3 girls how to code, being a feminist and advocating for gender equality and being a person for inspiring a lot of people.
Thando Gwinji has a lot of goals, Why? Because it is important to have a lot of goals and if you have achieved your goals then it means you haven’t aimed higher yet. She wants to lead change both locally and internationally to an extend that she becomes irrelevant to the people she came across because of the skills she would have impacted on them. She also wants to see her community excelling to an extent of not needing activists telling them about human rights. So to you reading this, she says “Do everything that you need to do to the fullest, Yes there is going to be mountains to climb but just do what you need to do to the fullest and live life as best as you can”
In closing I believe it takes just one good deed to inspire someone so according to me #StewieLeSavage do good all the time and always know that making a change starts with the man in the mirror.
