Novuyo Seagirl Dube is a 27years old woman from Kwantuthu Ziyathunqa. She is an aspiring business woman, a twin heart, a mother of one boy and a very talented artists who’s currently pursuing a higher diploma in music production and sound engineering at the College of Creative Arts Africa here in Bulawayo. Her journey in the arts began at a very tender age when she and her twin sister started their own dance group at Primary School level.
She is a woman that she is today through the inspiration that she got from their mum who is her pillar of strength and through the hardships that she has endured in life. She is greatly motivated by her son who gives her a reason to live and a purpose to do everything that she does, the little life depends on her. She is also motivated by seeing other people working hard.
The a;e;i;o,u hit maker took the first title at the Starbrite 2015 and she scooped two awards at the SkyzMetroFMAwards 2018 (Best house song and best female artists). She’s also nominated for the best house song at the StarFMAwards 2019. She has been featured in local dramas and movies. She has also worked with a lot of artists like Sandra Ndebele, Lance Hebron, Qeqeshiwe Mntambo just to name a few. She has toured around many countries and one of her goals this year is to do a song with an international artist.
“Do what makes you happy and don’t let anyone try to pull you down. The sky is the limit.” Those are her words of encouragement to us.
